Reference Reporting

Return to Our Services

Each highly skilled Barada Associate conducts reference interviews with a goal of ascertaining the candidate’s previous job performance and skills as well as suitability for the current position with your company. We suggest the following guidelines when ordering reference reports:

  • Include at least 3 work-related references for a complete view of the candidate.
  • Reference lists should always contain at least one supervisor, although adding a subordinate or co-worker often provides useful insight.
  • References from current or recent jobs are best.
  • Share your specific requirements for a given position or questions about a candidate so that we can incorporate those concerns into our interviews.

The following are our standard reports, and each can be adapted as necessary to meet your specific needs:

    Exempt Report

Presented in a detailed narrative format, this report is geared to CEOs, managers, and other professional and supervisory positions. Our associates interview references in a professional yet conversational manner in order to develop a comprehensive evaluation of a candidate’s job performance, knowledge, experience, managerial style, growth potential and suitability for the position.

    Midlevel Report

This concise bullet-style report is best suited for individual contributors without significant managerial responsibilities such as sales representatives and technical staff. Our associates pose open-ended questions designed to gather information about a candidate’s experience, job knowledge and skills.

    Non-Exempt Report

We developed this succinct narrative report for entry level, factory, clerical and hourly employees. During reference interviews, our associates cover basic job skills, work history, dependability and overall performance.
